A family-run firm built around trades, not sales.
Renovo Design & Build was founded by Jake Stewart in Salford after years of watching homeowners get burned by sales-led builders, vanishing subcontractors and quotes that doubled by week six. We do the opposite: tight scope of work, fixed price in writing, one site manager from groundworks to handover.
Who we help. Homeowners across Salford, Manchester and Greater Manchester who want a structural extension, loft conversion or full renovation done properly the first time, with the calculations, drawings and sign-offs to back it up.
What we specialise in. Structural work, RSJ installation, wall removals, underpinning, two-storey and wrap-around extensions. The kind of job a general builder hands off to four different trades. We keep it in-house.

Designed before it’s built
Every project starts with measured drawings, structural calculations and a written scope of work. We don’t guess, we draw it, calculate it, then build it.
Engineer sign-off as standard
All structural work, RSJs, beams, underpinning, removals, is designed by a chartered structural engineer. Building Control gets the calcs before the steel goes in.
In-house trades, no rotation
Bricklayers, joiners, plasterers and project managers are our own team. The face you meet on day one is the face you see at handover.
Fixed price in writing
Detailed line-item quote with materials, labour and contingencies set out. Stage payments tied to milestones, never large upfront deposits.
Fully insured & regulated
Public liability, employer’s liability and contract works insurance. FENSA, Gas Safe and NICEIC registered trades for all regulated installations.
Workmanship guarantee
Written workmanship guarantee on every project. Manufacturer warranties on roofs, windows and boilers passed straight through to you.
