1. Who we are

Renovo Design & Build Ltd (“Renovo”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and during the course of providing our building services. Our registered office is 107 Castlehill Road, Salford, WN2 4BN, United Kingdom.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details, name, phone, email and property postcode submitted through our estimate form.
  • Project details, the scope and description of the project you tell us about.
  • Correspondence, emails, calls and messages exchanged during your enquiry and project.
  • Technical data, IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by standard server logs.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a site survey.
  • To prepare and send you a written quote.
  • To deliver the works once you’ve appointed us.
  • To meet our legal, accounting and Building Control obligations.
  • To improve our website (aggregate analytics only, never sold).

4. Lawful basis

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests, responding to enquiries you initiate.
  • Contract performance, when you appoint us to deliver works.
  • Legal obligation, for tax, Building Control and warranty records.

5. Sharing your data

We share personal data only where necessary:

  • With our structural engineer, architect or Building Control body for your project.
  • With trade subcontractors (e.g. FENSA, Gas Safe, NICEIC registered) engaged on your job.
  • With our accountants and HMRC for invoicing and tax.
  • With our hosting and email providers under data-processing agreements.

We never sell your data and we don’t share it for marketing.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months. Project data, including Building Control sign-offs and warranties, is kept for the duration required by law and warranty terms (typically 6 years and up to 12 years for some structural matters).

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion where there is no overriding legal obligation.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
